Custom House Quay, Dublin

Bespoke Metalwork Package - Glass Balustrade, Gates & Webnet Mesh Fencing

Brief and project description

We were proud to partner with Purcell Construction to deliver a comprehensive and bespoke metalwork package for the prestigious Quayside Buildings, located on Dublin’s iconic Custom House Quay.

This project required the supply and installation of several key elements, all designed to complement the modern aesthetic of the waterfront development while ensuring public safety and durability. Our scope of work included:

  • Elegant Glass Balustrades: Providing sleek, unobstructed views of the canal.
  • Custom Fabricated Gates: Bespoke designs built for both security and style.
  • Stainless Steel Webnet Mesh Fencing: A robust and visually lightweight safety solution.

Overcoming Tidal Challenges

A key aspect of this project was its unique location on a working canal. The fluctuating tidal conditions presented significant logistical and planning challenges. Our team employed meticulous scheduling and precise co-ordination to ensure all installations were carried out safely and efficiently, working in sync with the rhythms of the tide.

Despite these complexities, all metalwork components were delivered and installed to our highest standards, resulting in a finished product that significantly enhances both the safety and the visual appeal of this beautiful waterfront space.

Services Provided: Bespoke Metal Fabrication, Glass Balustrade Supply & Installation, Custom Gate Manufacturing, Webnet Mesh Fencing, Project Management for Logistically Complex Sites.
